Community Outreach and Support
The Association of Ndi Igbo in Tallahassee (ANIT) successfully concluded its major pre-Thanksgiving outreach initiative. On Saturday, the ANIT Social Welfare Committee delivered the final donations of Thanksgiving baskets, turkeys, and essential school supplies to AngelesWinz Inc. This incredible non-profit organization provides critical support to battered women and their children, as well as victims of human trafficking in our area.
A Partnership for Impact
The donated items will be distributed directly to the shelters housing the victims and their children by Mrs. Wendy Dawson, the CEO of AngelesWinz Inc. This partnership ensures that families facing extreme hardship can experience a sense of stability and warmth during the holiday season. The inclusion of school supplies also provides vital assistance to the children as they continue their education.
Gratitude and Recognition
The success of this effort was made possible by dedicated leadership and volunteerism. A special thank you goes to our Honorable President, Mrs. Amanze, Dr. Ugochukwu, Dr. Ijeoma, and Okeke for their time and effort in personally delivering the collected items.
“The true mark of a unified community is not how much we possess, but how generously we share with those in need. In Tallahassee, ANIT is the embodiment of this compassion.“
